Sponsorship Information

The Wounded and Recovering Fund was set up by Greenville County Deputies after several serious Line of Duty injuries in the past years. These serious injuries caused deputies and officers to experience financial hardships after the incident due to the loss of work, secondary employment, medical bills etc. We have helped many officers over the last eleven years and paid over $75,000 to dozens upon dozens of officers and deputies over the years helping even some keep their house. The primary goal of the Wounded and Recovering Fund is to establish permanent fundraising capabilities to provide immediate financial assistance. As the WAR Fund continues to grow and expand, we now cover and support 11 agencies in Upstate South Carolina.

 

As match director for this annual event and one of the founding board members I am constantly seeking to retain sponsorships as well as acquire new sponsorships in the form of both funds and or goods to assist in raising money for the cause through match raffle entry, door prizes, and side matches.  Each year the match grows and 100% of the proceeds raised go to the 501c3 nonprofit as all board members serve on a volunteer basis. We are conservatively expecting over 250 shooters this year as last year had 231 in attendance with over 60 staff members. We expect it to continue to grow in the years to come as it has since inception. I have included a few additional details about the charity as well as a hyperlink for both our website and Facebook page.

 

The 11th Annual WAR match will be held the weekend of October 14th, 2023 at The Clinton House Plantation with dinner served at the awards banquet on the 14th at which your welcome to attend. Match attendance has grown yearly with the help of shooters and sponsors alike. Shooters will have the option to enter two handgun classes (Limited or Open) as well as PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine) class. Feel free to show up and shoot the side match guns and ammo.  

 

As a match sponsor your company name and or logo will be displayed in numerous places to include the match website, Facebook page, match booklet, t-shirt. Additionally, sponsor banners, signs, swag, etc. are allowed and preferred. There will be a variety of commercial videos for Facebook teaser and social media produced by an incredible media and marketing group who offers their services that we could not afford otherwise. I would like to incorporate in those videos our title sponsors whether it be a quick message of what to look forward to seeing from the demo or otherwise.

Title Match Sponsor Level 

(Two sponsor slots available) 

 

•    Requires a donation of $2500 cash or retail value merchandise. If discount coupons are included, they must not represent more than more than $500 worth of the donation.

•    Match will be named after the sponsor(s). For example, our 2022 match was named “W.A.R. Fund Falling Steel Match brought to you by Palmetto State Armory and Lead Star Arms hosted by The Clinton House Plantation”

•    Large logo on the back of the match shirts. All staff members will wear the match shirt with the logo on it during the match. All shooters will be given the option of purchasing a match shirt as well.

•    Title Match Sponsor will be listed on the cover of the match booklet with a large logo.

•    Title Match Sponsor will be announced on all club/match social media with embedded links to your site.

•    Full page add in match book. You are welcome to send in a custom advertisement.

•    Sponsor will be announced to each squad during the stage briefing. (In the name of the match)

•    Sponsor may display supplied logos or banners in prominent locations throughout the venue.

•    Title Match Sponsors may utilize the vendor area.

•    Title Match sponsors will receive 2 free shooter slots. You may elect to add $95.00 in retail merchandise to your contribution to place up to one additional  sponsored shooter in the match.

 

Match Sponsor Level 

(Three sponsor slots available at this level)

 

•     Requires a donation of $1000 cash or retail value merchandise. If discount coupons are included, they must not represent more than $250 of the donation.

•    Medium logo on the back of the match shirts. All staff members will wear the match shirt with the logo on it during the match. All shooters will be given the option of purchasing a match shirt as well.  

•    Match Sponsor will be announced on all club/match social media with embedded links to your site.

•    Listed on the cover of the match booklet with a medium color logo.

•    Full page color advertisement in match book. You are welcome to send in a custom advertisement.

•    Sponsor may display supplied logos or banners in prominent locations throughout the venue.

•    Match Sponsors may utilize the vendor area.

•    Match Sponsors will receive 1 free shooter slot. You may elect to add $95.00 


Shared Stage Sponsor Level 

(20 sponsor slots available at this level – two per stage)


•    Requires a donation of $500.00 cash or retail value merchandise. If discount coupons are included, they must not represent more than $200.00 of the donation.

•    Will have a half page ad in the match booklet. You are welcome to send in a custom advertisement.

•    Stage Sponsor will be announced on club/match social media with embedded links to your site.

•    May display supplied logos or banners on the sponsored stage.

•    Will be announced to each squad during the stage briefing.

•    Stage Sponsors may utilize the vendor area.

•    Sponsor may elect to sponsor multiple stages. For each additional stage sponsored, the donation is reduced to $350.

 

Contributor Level 

(unlimited slots available at this level)


•    Requires a donation of $150.00 cash or retail value merchandise.

•    Quarter page ad in the match booklet.

      

Donor Level 

(unlimited slots available at this level)


•    Requires a donation of $75.00 cash or retail value merchandise. If discount coupons are included, they must not represent more than $25.00 of the donation.

•    Business name listed on a page of the match booklet that thanks our donors.

 

All sponsor levels may provide materials (i.e. flyers, pamphlet, etc….) to be placed in the shooter’s registration packet.  Sponsors are requested to email the match director a large, high resolution or vector-based logo file in order for the logo to be included on our shirts.

 

All donated items will go to the prize table for the shooters and staff.  Any monetary donations will go towards the W.A.R. Fund or match expenses.  Our primary goal is to have an excellent prize table for the shooters along with raising more funds than last year for the Wounded and Recovery Fund.
